Mr. Mridul Kumar (Egg Incubator)

Northeast India is home to some of the most diverse and challenging terrain in India, making it difficult to reach remote areas and provide essential services to the people living there. The poultry industry is no exception, with farmers struggling to find reliable and affordable solutions for hatching eggs and raising chicks, Mridul Kumar recognized these challenges and set out to create a solution that would not only meet the needs of rural poultry farmers but also help to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

Enterprise Name

Keshabsons Incubator and Machineries

Keshabson Incubators & Machinery empowers poultry farmers with fully automatic incubators and essential services. As protein demands soar, farmers must embrace technology to boost poultry populations. Our cutting-edge incubators offer a reliable solution for increasing bird numbers and ensuring successful hatch rates, enhancing farm productivity and profitability.

Inspiration

Mridul Kumar’s inspiration for Keshabson Incubators & Machinery came from his own experiences growing up in a rural village. He identified the challenges faced by farmers in raising poultry and how this impacted their livelihoods. He also saw the potential for solar energy to be used as a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional power sources. This motivated him to start developing a solution that would address these challenges and promote sustainable practices.

Challenges

  • During the hatching period, the hens take care of the hatching and do not lay other eggs. Egg Incubators, on the other hand, save time and money ensuring continuous egg production.
  • It can happen that the hens do not hatch the eggs correctly or long enough, thus lowering the hatching rate. Egg incubators are always reliable.
  • Fear of predators at the time of hatching.
  • Traditional system of hatching never ensures business growth. Using Egg Incubators, one can plan a good business.
  • Sometimes, it is seen that the mother hen eats or damages the eggs.
  • Some essential breeds: RIR, BV300, BV380, Kuroiler, Broiler, Banraja, Kadaknath, Turkey, Quail bird, etc cannot hatch their own eggs. Therefore the Egg Incubator essential machine to increase the population of the above-mentioned poultry birds.

Solution

  • A machine that is affordable, reliable and easy to use, while also being eco-friendly and sustainable.
  • Create awareness among rural farmers about the benefits of using solar-powered egg incubators and other machinery, and to convince them to switch from traditional methods.

  • Finding reliable and affordable suppliers for the components needed for the incubators, navigate the complexities of supply chains and negotiate with suppliers to ensure that the products were affordable and of high quality.

  • Convincing rural farmers of the benefits of using solar-powered egg incubators.

  • Develop a marketing strategy that highlighted the benefits of his product and demonstrated its reliability and affordability.
